SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA, UNITED STATES, Nov. 25, 2022 / — Tribal Health, the leading provider of health counseling and recruiting services to Native American communities, today announced the launch of its annual holiday campaign. The company collects clothing, baby supplies and toys for three shelters serving indigenous families in Arizona and South Dakota.

Tribal Health President Morgan Haynes said the campaign is about “bringing hope to where it’s needed most during the holiday season.”

“The holidays may be a time for giving, but they’re also an opportunity for new beginnings,” Haynes said. “These shelters serve people who are homeless or fleeing domestic violence – people who are boldly embarking on the next chapter in their lives. Our goal is to make their holiday season happier and help them build a strong future in any way we can.”

Friends can participate in the Tribal Health Holiday Drive by donating new, unboxed items at Tribal Health’s Scottsdale location through December 11, 2022. The shelter’s wish list includes toys, coats, socks, duffel bags, diapers, and clothing. Those who prefer to participate virtually can buy items via online shops or send Amazon gift cards.

Whittney LaCroix, Chief Nursing Officer (Sicangu Lakota), said the organization is honored to give back to the communities it serves by providing a safe and joyful holiday season to families in need.

“Even a donation of just one item can change a person’s life,” said LaCroix. “We are honored to have the opportunity to help outside of healthcare. We feel a deep connection and obligation to the communities we serve, and this is just one way to show our love and appreciation.”
