Week 13 rivalry week college football betting odds: Michigan-Ohio State, Notre Dame-USC | bets

It’s college football’s rivalry week, when almost every game holds a lot of meaning for the schools — either for emotional reasons or more tangible ones — bowl eligibility, conference championship hopes.

One game stands above the other, however: unbeaten Michigan and Ohio State meet in Columbus with a Big Ten championship game berth and almost certainly the College Football Playoff at stake. It will be the last meeting of unbeaten teams before the start of the CFP and a true meeting of college football titans. It’s also rumored that the teams don’t particularly like each other.

Ohio State is a 7½ point favorite at the start of the week at Caesars Sportsbook, Bet.NOLA.com’s official odds partner.

There are other important games, notably No. 5 USC vs. No. 13 Notre Dame and No. 4 TCU vs. Iowa State. The Trojans and Horned Frogs are both favored and need wins to keep their CFP hopes alive; If they do, they’ll go into championship week probably needing just one more win to make the playoffs.

In the SEC, the championship game matchup is decided, but No. 6 LSU (-9½) must beat Texas A&M to keep its national title hopes alive and No. 1 Georgia can go unbeaten for its second straight regular season. Rarely is the week when the Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama is on the national undercard.

Here’s a full Rivalry Week schedule for week 13 with TV updates and a list of available point spreads and over/under totals from Caesars Sportsbook, official odds partner of Bet.NOLA.com:
